This gorgeous turquoise matrix stone has been set onto a piece of hammered oval silver (19x12.5mm). The pendant hangs on a lovely 18" Belcher chain. Turqoise is as popular now as it has been for thousands of years. It has often been associated with good luck and friendship. The matrix part refers to the deposits of the host rock running through it, in a unique pattern. This piece is a stunning blue, with just a few matrix traces. It has been photographed next to a piece of Forsythia - so pretty and one of my favourite Spring blossoms - bringing much needed joyful colour  .
